Childrensalon | Christmas Campaign
Senior UI Designer
For the Christmas campaign, I led the UX and UI design for an immersive digital village experience. The village was designed as a collection of interactive shops that customers could explore. I mapped out the village structure and user journeys to ensure the experience felt rich and immersive while remaining easy to navigate. I designed all supporting UI elements, including signage, navigation, volume controls, hotspots, and instructions, to guide users seamlessly through the experience. I used AI tools to rapidly explore visual directions and UI variants, building a reusable library of prompts specific to the project, and to sense-check usability and accessibility considerations.
Alongside the village, I designed a Christmas postcard generator that allowed users to upload a drawing or image, add a personal message, and create a festive card using one of our branded frames. I owned the full UX and UI for this feature, from defining the flow and input steps to designing the final reveal of the completed card. In addition, I developed a gift finder tool that guides users through a short series of questions, helping them quickly and confidently discover the most suitable gifts while maintaining a warm, seasonal tone.
Many of the components created for the Christmas campaign were intentionally designed to be modular and reusable across future campaigns, including Eid. The postcard generator, in particular, was built to flex across different themes and visual treatments. Beyond campaign-specific work, I also designed evergreen modules to live within the PLP throughout the year, including a shopable video component that pairs rich video content with directly associated products, supporting inspiration-led browsing.
